What is Change my Payment method?
Change my Payment method is a way of informing the Department you wish to be paid into a different bank account.
What social welfare payments can I change?
Not all social welfare payments are available to change on MyWelfare, see the list below of available scheme payments.
If your scheme is not listed and you are an Ulster Bank/KBC bank account holder, you may have received a letter from the Department with instructions on how to change bank account for your scheme. If you have not yet been contacted by the Department, further instructions on how to change your payment method are available here

What do I need?
MyGovID Verified account
You will need to have a verified MyGovID account to access the service. This can be created at www.mygovid.ie.
Account details
You will need to know the account name, BIC and IBAN of the account that you wish to nominate.
Scheme
You will need to know which scheme you wish to make these changes on.
